The Triumph of Christianity

Practical enjoyment of the eternal, indescribable, immeasurable love of Jesus is not a guarantee but requires us to live for the Glory of the Father by obeying His commands.

<p>To glorify God and bear lasting fruit, we must embody Jesus' obedient love, embracing the call to love one another as He has loved us.</p>

<p>Seeing and understanding the worlds hatred of Jesus prepares us to live like Him in a world that will hate us.</p>

<p>God's response to the world's rejection and hatred is a patient witness to the truth about Jesus and is how we should respond when hated and rejected.</p>

<p>The threat of falling away is real and is enhanced under the pressure of the world's hatred and rejection. Only with the care of the Holy Spirit will we not give up on our faith and persevere in it as faithful witnesses.</p>

<p>Our faithfulness in bearing witness to the truth about Jesus and the Father is possible only because of the Holy Spirit working to bring people to conviction of sin, His caring for us by guiding us into an understanding of the truth about Jesus and telling us what is His.</p>

<p>The Holy Spirit comes to us, disciples of Jesus, to empower us for a mission that cannot be accomplished apart from His Supernatural help.</p>

<p>Jesus in His conquering work of salvation brings us into a new and uniquely close and connected relationship with God the Father that gives us a joy that transforms sadness to gladness, that cannot be taken from us, that is in endless supply reminding us continually we are at peace with God.</p>

<p>To imitate Christ, we must pray like Christ, and that includes submitting ourselves to the dangerous work of being the means by which God's glory may be revealed to those around us.</p>

<p>Jesus prayed to the Father believing His requests would be answered because God gave us to Jesus to be His disciples and accomplish His mission from God to announce His kingdom and call people to believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord.</p>
